It allows visitors to access and contribute to archive content through their gestures. The installation shifts the archive from a site of knowledge retrieval to one of knowledge production and disassembling and mobilizing its documents, technologies, and institutional framings into new compositions. In the spirit of modern dance, Bodies of Knowledge breaks the internal logic of the archive by releasing the emancipatory power of movement. The first and only constructed version of this design was realized in 1969 in Graz as part of the three-country biennial "trigon 69: architektur und freiheit". Fifty years after Superstudio responded to the zeitgeist of the 1960s with a criticism of the notions of progress that defined the era, artists and architects of a younger generation now examine the social conditions that accompanied the production and reception of Superstudio’s ideas. Influenced by digital image production, they have developed an immersive environment for the exhibition "Sorry, the file you have requested does not exist.", which examines the role of architects as space designers and explores the future potential of architectural tools. The squares can be replaced by the nooks and crannies of the houses, obligatory places of passage where you can throw an eye. The house itself is the place for a series of private but collective rituals, and it is to these that DiSé dedicates its Domestic Monuments collection. Eight design pieces entrusted to eight different designers and each dedicated to one of the gestures and objects that identify the living space. A desire to explore the ‘fantasies abandoned during the design process’ (Koozarch interview 2017) led them to set up (ab)Normal in 2017. An experiment in architectural representation, they carefully de-construct photorealistic renders before rearranging them as illustrations based on Normal vectors.
