Opal Shrine
Installation for Opal's Subwoofer Devotion capsule launch
Created for the launch of Opal's first capsule collection, Shrine turns the idea of devotion into an architectural gesture.
Sixteen diamond-grip stair treads (30 × 300 cm) hang from steel cables anchored to the wall, like a rack of offerings or a stack of speakers.
The treads were salvaged from Spazio Meta, where they had been part of the OMA/AMO set for Prada's SS2024 show.
They move from the runway to the club altar, and the industrial surface becomes a backdrop for clothes that, like music, shape the body and the identity of whoever wears them.
