Research Table for  “FLESH AND METAL, A Prosthetic Decade”

Vittorio Valigi + (AB)Normal

The piece presents part of a collection of objects and books with a connection to past experiences, consciously or unconsciously accumulated over the years. Ranging from sci-fi media about cyborgs, to items of daily use, these objects become carriers of a projected sense of shared identity, reflecting the continuous influence of the past over the present through the things that surround us.

“FLESH AND METAL, A Prosthetic Decade”
Exhibited and Curated by Vittorio Valigi

The exhibition is an homage to the life-changing process of overcoming trauma, offering a moment to reflect and raise awareness on invisible disabilities while presenting an utterly intimate display of beauty and terror.
